The founder of the Peanut Gallery has played for a pretty notable men's league team for the last decade. The Coral Gables A's have existed for 20+ years, and have experienced glory, heartbreak, and everything in between. The A's are a family of talented (sort of) ballplayers who may or may not have a screw loose. This page is dedicated to America's funniest men's league baseball team.

Alex Arteaga, #23, P

"AA" to one and all, Alex Arteaga led the Coral Gables A's pitching staff for over a decade. Relying on guile instead of brute force, AA was the man you wanted with the ball in his hands in a must-win game. Also very reliable for IPA recommendations.

Albert Jardines, #8, C

"The Captain." Albert Jardines was the Coral Gables A's leader in the dugout and on the field. He was also the resident black belt and keeper of A's culture; you couldn't get too confident around Albert, unless you wanted the "pretty boy" nickname bestowed on you forever.

Miguel Garcia, #22, MGR

Our fearless skipper. Miguel Garcia ran the Coral Gables A's with gusto for nearly two decades. A calm presence in the dugout, but also a clutch pinch hitter, Miguel was synonymous with the A's. He was also a self-proclaimed "Hall of Fame manager," who has finally lived up to his billing.

Leo Portes, #16, C

The Iron Man of the Coral Gables A's, Leo Portes could manage a pitching staff like no other. It didn't matter if he got there five minutes before the game started (Dominican time), Leo was always ready to go to war for the A's, both with his glove and his bat.
