State of the Union: Ranking MCU Films Post-Endgame

The MCU films released after Endgame have been a mixed bag, to say the least.

Since 2019 the MCU films introduced have had more downs than ups. The promise of the multiverse was never truly delivered in any way that was expected and that has left a sour taste in many mouths. Not all the films have been bad; some have been average, with even a few being very good to great. A big flaw has been the lack of payoff from the end credit scenes, which, if you are a fan of the early MCU days, you know would lead into the next film in some way.
Inconsistent storytelling has been the biggest flaw, and it is for that reason Black Widow isn’t on this list. While it was made post-Endgame, the story was a followup to Civil War. This list is focusing on the storytelling after the blip. I hope to hear what you think!
This movie combined nostalgia with a great story. Three Spider-Men are definitely better than one.
James Gunn's swan song from Marvel almost matches Vol. 1. Great soundtrack and the best new villain introduced post-Blip.
Avenger-like feels. This team-up redeemed and breathed life into a lot of forgotten characters. Heart, humor, and the introduction of a super-powered being with mental health issues, which made for an interesting character analysis.

Wolverine has now entered the chat. This movie is a whole lot of fun.
Best new protagonist. Amazing fights, excellent visuals and we are still waiting for a follow up.
6. Spider-Man: Far From Home
Heavy Endgame fallout here. Peter Parker trying to find his path without Iron Man as a mentor.
7. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Tragically altered. The sad loss of Chadwich Boseman left a lot of what ifs.
The hype did not meet expectations. Fun film, but not nearly enough of the Multiverse and the writers apparently didn't watch Wandavision.
Personal problems possibly altered the end of this film. Kang is out, Doom is in, and the future is ever evolving.
10. Captain America: Brave New World
First Cap outing without Steve Rogers and it shows. Inconsistent storytelling and more of a sequel to The Incredible Hulk, this movie felt put together piecemeal.
11. The Marvels
Ms. Marvel aka Kamala Khan is a gem. Saving grace of a story that didn't propel Carol Danvers story forward and other than an end credit scene, seemed a waste of some solid characters.
12. Eternals

Too serious, too many characters and not enough humor to balance out the story. Probably not seeing any of these people again.
Ragnarok, Infinity War, and Endgame gave a great character arc to Thor. Taika lost all semblance of that and regressed Thor by going over the top with humor and little substance. No balance whatsoever.
