The Whale just might be some of Brendan Fraser’s best work since School Ties and With Honors. Wonderfully acted, Fraser plays a man given into pain and gluttony. Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) gives an emotional performance playing the abandoned daughter taking advantage of her father’s need to reconnect with her before he dies.
