God of War Ragnarök is available for PS4 and PS5.
God of War Ragnarök is not only the best game in the entire franchise, but it is also one of the best games I have ever played. It ranks among my all-time top 3.
As someone who has beaten every single GoW installment (dating back to PS2 days) and LOVED every single second of each one, the fact that this one is my favorite speaks volumes. I spent over 121 hours exploring every nook and cranny of the lush environments, discovering every last collectible, initiating every conversation, and fighting every one of the plethora of optional bosses, including some absolutely grueling matches against heavyweight opponents on steroids…all on the hardest difficulty.
Not only did I obtain the platinum trophy, but I went a few steps further and completed 100% of the game. I do not say this to brag but rather to drive home the fact that I wanted to imbibe every last drop of this glorious masterpiece from Santa Monica Studio.
The story, graphics, and gameplay of God of War Ragnarök all deliver the highest level of entertainment possible, every step of the way. If I could get MIB’d and have the game wiped from my memory just so I could experience it again for the first time, you better believe I would. Since that is not the reality we live in, I say to Kratos and Atreus…thank you both for the journey of a lifetime.
